I don’t think I’m quite there yet with woodworking.
Thanks Walter, handy post. I like the tip about pivoting a straight edge to find the high spots. I currently just use the edge of my #7 jointer.
The long jointer is such a satisfying tool! (but not so easy to pivot :-)

Heh! That's an absolutely tiny workshop :-) Getting a plank in there is like threading a needle!

Yep, I've seen plenty of decent sized workshops. Sadly I dont have that luxury. Its an experiment in making do. It's not even an honest description to call it a workshop, its more a corner of a tiny garden shed.
